How would you punish the firestarters in the case of Victoria current bushfires?

Authorities have made it clear that they believe there were a number of people involved in starting Victoria's most deadly fires ever.



If you were to have the choice, how would you punish the firestarters?



Personally, I would castrate them in the case of men and a mastectomy in the case of women. Allow them to live life with a permanent disfigurement, in the same sense that their act has left on the lives, minds, bodies and souls of so many others.How would you punish the firestarters in the case of Victoria current bushfires?
make them put out the fire, then beat the living hell out of them.
I would imprison them for twenty years and each day, make them listen to victim impact statements and make them look at photos of burns victims to give them something to think about while they're in there.How would you punish the firestarters in the case of Victoria current bushfires?
I think they should be jailed for life.

I just can't comprehend how anyone could get any kicks from seeing so many lives taken and all those belongings gone.

Sadly it doesn't sound like they'd catch any of those who started the fires. I just hope their conscience would devour their soul so they would die from the inside.How would you punish the firestarters in the case of Victoria current bushfires?

What penalty would ever be enough for all of the heartbreak they have caused? We can only hope that the courts throw the book at them...and then still it is not enough...I cannot understand what sickness drives them to arson...
i would make them help rebuild the communities and go to the hospital and change the dressings of burn victims!!



any punishment won't be enough to make up for the loss of life and devastation.
