I'm pretty sure she only trains through the show, as it takes up most of her time. I'm really bummed that she's coming to do a seminar at the shelter I used to volunteer at before moving away to law school and I can't get back home to see it!

There are plenty of trainers that use her methods though if you don't get on her show - look up local positive trainers or dog clubs in your area. Good luck!
If you're asking out of mild curiosity then call the station that airs the show, I'm sure they can tell you or point you in the right direction.
If you're asking because your dog is a monster you can solve this problem for far less money from a qualified trainer. Victoria Stillwell is not the end all be all of dog training, not by a long shot. A quality trainer that doesn't double as a TV personality will cost you a fraction of the amount and will be able to fit into your schedule.

First of all let me remind you that she is an ACTRESS, she never had any experience training dogs before her show. She was a dog WALKER to supplement her acting career.
You would probably get a dog trainer with more experience then her by going down to the local mens club and hiring a pole dancer.
If you want a real dog trainer then contact your local AKC Obedience club.

Stilwell originally trained as an actress, playing roles in Bram Stoker's Dracula in 1992, ITV1's The Bill in 1994, and onstage in London's West End theatre, as well as several commercials and voiceovers. In order to supplement her income as an actress, Stilwell's veterinary nurse sister suggested Victoria start a dog walking agency. Within a month Victoria was walking 20 dogs per day - 10 in the morning, 10 in the afternoon (Her career after that was running dog training companies-again not being a dog trainer)

i think your dog gets trained in the show. if you get picked you are agreeing not only for your dog to get trained but to be broadcast over the TV.
Contact the studio and ask. They probably want you to pay the air fare as well.
Why are people hating on Victoria?? She is the bomb, and right away you can see that she has a way with dogs thats gifted. WHO CARES ABOUT HER OTHER OCCUPATION??? Multi-talented makes her more qualified for her success. Take notes haters and nae sayers.

ReplyDeleteShe is an obvious animal lover, who is teaching people to take better care of their animals. Her acting training has enabled her to do this in a mainstream way. I think she is spectacular.

ReplyDeleteLearning patience, love and how to train with ignoring bad behavior and acknowledging good behavior. The most disgusting thing I’ve watched on these shows are these dogs owners who allow their Dogs to pee and crap in their house and not clean it up, how disgusting can people get? I find Victoria’s attitude towards all these owners is extremely patient and kind and generous even when she’s disgusted.
I wish she'd trained my dog. He's very nervous and barks a lot.
ReplyDeleteMy dog is a monster, she was a rescue, she's 3, is horrible to potty train even though we take her out 4+ times a DAY! Is very reactive towards people and dogs, she snaps at the younger kids in the house and pees when ever my dad comes near her!!

DeleteI saw this blog just to know how much exactly do you pay Victoria to help you, and found this hate blog instead. I binge watched her for the past few days and I feel like she's definitely NOT acting only for the show. Her professionality towards dogs with any problems are always giving me a lot of lessons just in case I get my own dog. Her methods are proven to be effective, and she probably has really train problematic dogs for more than a decade. She might be acting here and there but she's not that two faced! She confront owners that has quite an "attitude" and patiently train the dogs and show the owner how! This blog seem to have a personal problem towards Victoria and I'm not buying any word in this blog.

She's good at what she does and is patient with both dogs and humans. This hateful rant was totally obnoxious and wanting to kick someone in the teeth because you don't like her past jobs?
